This course is deemed by far the most important information needed by law enforcement and correctional professionals to execute their jobs. Global Tactics instructors in this field specializes in innovative ways of instruction through lecture and scenario based training in the areas of the force guidelines (passive, active, aggressive, and deadly force), along with the concepts of escalation, de-escalation, and disengagement. When the law enforcement and correctional professional understands their state and agency policy on what they can and cannot do; it makes the decision to use the appropriate amount of force needed during an encounter. 

Defensive Tactics

This course was designed with proven techniques based on actual encounters with subjects, whether it be inside a facility or outside in a parking lot. The course instructors have over a combined 90 plus years in the field of Defensive Tactics, in disciplines such as Karate, Judo, Muay Thai, boxing, Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and others arts. Rescue Task Force

Global Tactics provides both tactical and medical deployment group training involving fire rescue and law enforcement response to an active shooter event. Our training will teach the formations and tactics needed to handle the three phases of an active shooter event: contact with the suspect(s), extraction of the victims and treatment of the victims.

Active Shooter

Law enforcement and public entities need to be prepared for random acts of violence. This unique course addresses the several phases of preparation for victims and responders to an active shooter incident. The scenarios based training presented in this course is based upon real-life scenarios. This training will be tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. Remember, if we do not have a plan in place we do not have a plan for tomorrow. 

Tactical Edge Combat Fitness

This combined job related exercise and defensive tactics training course has become the preferred and favored fitness program for state and federal agencies. Designed with occupational fitness in mind, this course was created to meet the needs of every participant and challenge them at their level. Presented to SWAT teams, road patrol officers, correctional officers, as well as participants from the public and private sector, this course provides a unique experience for everyone. The instructors of this course have a combined 30 plus years of experience in the field of fitness and martial arts.

Gang Investigations

This comprehensive course was designed to teach basic and advanced gang investigations. The course focuses on the importance of properly identifying and documenting gang members, discusses the special handling of gang members who act as confidential informants, and the intricacies and safety concerns when working in an undercover capacity in the gang culture. This training also focuses on case preparation and appropriate statutes and charges related to gang prosecution. The instructors of this course have more than 40 years of combined experience on both the state and federal level.

Correctional Management and Supervision

This program is designed to build a synergistic work force and provide professional assessments for correctional facilities with the utilization of forward-thinking training models. The evidence-based concepts addressed in this training cover the areas of correctional supervision and leadership, policy and procedure, ethics, de-escalation techniques, use of force, maximization of operational resources, effective and efficient prisoner transportation, community work programs and courtroom procedures.
